Las Vegas police searched a home today as part of an investigation into rapper Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder.
Detectives served a search warrant at a home in Henderson near Interstate 11 and Wagon Wheel Drive, KLAS reported.
Shakur was shot and killed just one block from the Las Vegas Strip in September 1996. He was 25 years old.
The case remains unsolved.
Shakur was gunned down in his black BMW as it idled at a red light on Flamingo Road and Koval Lane on September 7, 1996.
He was struck by four .40-caliber bullets — two in the chest, one in the thigh and one in the arm.
Shakur was rushed to University Medical Center in the immediate aftermath, but he died from his wounds six days later.
His death spurred a ton of conspiracies about what may have happened, with books, documentaries and even a movie created posthumously about the rapper.
