Police Foil Suicide Attempt, Stop Man From Jumping into Lagos Lagoon

Vigilant policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have rescued a young man who attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the Third Mailand Bridge into the Lagos lagoon.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the unidentified man was thereafter taken to the headquarters of the RRS in Alausa, Ikeja, where he was counseled by the commander, ACP Tunji Disu.

After his family had been contacted, he was taken to the state government rehabilitation centre for further therapy and reintegration into the society.
