The Nigeria Police Force has declared three persons wanted over alleged offences bordering on cyberbullying and cyberstalking.
The wanted notices were issued through separate Gazette Bulletins by the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, INTERPOL, Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Those declared wanted are Egbuchere Fortunate Chieme, 43; Nnomere Innocent Odinakachi, 66; and Emeana Ubanna Ifunanya Chukwu, 39.
According to the police bulletins, Egbuchere, a businessman, was last known to reside in Houston, Texas, United States, while Nnomere’s last known address was listed as Vietnam. Emeana was said to have last resided in Imo State, Nigeria, and Canada.
The notices stated that the suspects are wanted in connection with alleged cyberbullying and cyberstalking offences.
Police authorities urged members of the public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to report to the nearest police station or the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, INTERPOL, FCID, Abuja.
The bulletins added that anyone found aiding or harbouring the wanted persons could face legal consequences.
