A woman has told the police in Lagos how a prophet made her take off her clothes for him to rub anointing oil on her buttocks in order to end her spiritual problems.
Forty-one-year-old Joy Muriyaro said that the itinerant prophet, identified as David Daniel, came to her shop at 2, Ailegun Road, Ejigbo, under the guise that he was sent by God.
Lagos police spokesman, DSP Bala Elkana, told NewsmakersNG: “The prophet claimed that he saw in a vision that Joy has spiritual problems and had foreseen her having fibroid growth in her womb in the future. He collected N3, 050 from her and a bottle of perfume worth N1000 for spiritual cleansing.
“She stated further that the suspect followed her to her house and ordered her to remove her clothes for him to rub anointing oil on her buttocks. She became apprehensive when she noticed that the suspect was masturbating when rubbing the anointing oil on her buttocks.”
Daniel was arrested, after Muriyaro reported at Ejigbo Police Station on September 17, at about 10:45 pm.
The suspect has been charged to Court for Indecent Assault and remanded in Kirikiri Prison.
