Policemen attached to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) this morning arrested the occupants of a Toyota pickup belonging to the Presidency on the Egbeda-Idimu road in Lagos for allegedly driving against traffic.
The policemen also arrested the occupants of another Toyota pickup for the same offence, on the same road, around the same time.
The two vehicles were fitted with siren, suggesting that they are being used for security escort.
The vehicle belonging to the Presidency is marked, 025-06FG, while the second one is marked, LND-800XZ.
Commander of the RRS, Tunji Disu, a deputy commissioner of police, who disclosed the arrests on Twitter, said the offenders were being detained at the Idimu police station.
He added that they would be charged to court on Monday.
