The Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) has announced that its E-Reporting Portal is now fully active and operational, urging Nigerians to utilise the platform to report cyber-related offences across the country.
In a public announcement issued by the NPF-NCCC, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Olatunji Disu encouraged members of the public to take advantage of the digital platform to report crimes such as online fraud, identity theft, cyberstalking and other internet-related criminal activities.
The Police described the portal as a secure, convenient and efficient channel designed to enhance swift response to cyber threats and improve collaboration between citizens and law enforcement agencies in tackling cybercrime.
According to the statement, complaints can be submitted through the official E-Reporting Portal at Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre E-Reporting Portal.
“The Nigeria Police Force remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens in the digital space,” the statement said.

The NPF-NCCC further urged Nigerians who experience or witness any form of cybercrime to promptly report such incidents through the portal to enable timely investigation and intervention.
The Force also advised members of the public to report cases of police misconduct to the Nigeria Police Force Provost Marshal or the Complaint Response Unit (CRU).
Reaffirming its commitment to combating cyber threats, the Centre stressed the need for collective efforts in creating a safer digital environment for Nigerians.
“Together, we can build a safer cyber environment,” the statement added.
The announcement was signed by the Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre.
