The boy in the picture here used to live a life where he was always chained in the house like a dog and starved like an Arabian horse.
Korede Taiwo allegedly received the treatment from his father, a pastor, and his stepmother who called him a thief and a wizard.

But his life changed when his tormentors were exposed and Korede was rescued by the police in Ogun State working with Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin’s NGO – Women Arise for Change Initiative.
The NGO handed Korede over to the wife of Ogun State governor, Mrs Olufunsho Amosun, who adopted and rehabilitated the 9-year-old boy.

Newsmakers learnt that Korede is doing well in school now and dreaming of becoming a medical doctor.
