Nigerians have reacted angrily to pictures of a meeting between a delegation of the House of Representatives, led by Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and the Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, in Tokyo, yesterday.
Gbajabiamila had shared the photos via his verified Twitter handle, @femigbaja.
Some of the photos, however, showed members of the Nigerian delegation sitting idly while their Japanese counterparts were busy taking notes during the meeting.
These appeared to have angered a lot of Twitter users who described the photos as perfect representation of how unserious the country’s leaders are.
They believed it was this kind of attitude by leaders that have led the country to where it is today.
