Photos: US Envoy Meets Police in Buhari’s Home State, Katsina

The United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador W. Stuart Symington has paid a courtesy visit to Katsina State police command.

According to a statement received by NewsmakersNG, key issues discussed included the important role played by the Police in entrenching democratic ideals.

The statement signed by the Katsina police spokesman, DSP Gambo Isah, quoted the envoy saying that the police should be seen to be neutral, non-partisan and apolitical during this electioneering process. He stated that his country would continue to support Nigeria in the fight against insecurity.
