Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, yesterday received the Governor-elect of the state, Mr. Seyi Makinde, in his office at the state secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

Makinde’s visit was essentially a mark of courtesy to the governor.

Ajimobi used the occasion to reaffirm his administration’s commitment to ensuring a successful change of baton and smooth take off of the incoming administration.

On Makinde’s entourage were the Deputy Governor-elect, Mr Rauf Olaniyan; a former Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Senator Hosea Agboola; State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Mr Kunmi Mustapha; his spokesperson, Prince Dotun Oyelade, and other PDP leaders.
