Major mosques across Lagos were shut against Muslim faithful who turned up for Jumat prayers today in compliance with the state government’s directive banning all gatherings of more than 50 people.
The state government adopted the measure to curb the community transmission of coronavirus as the state recorded five new confirmed cases of the infection, on Wednesday, including one who had no established contact with any of the imported cases.
