Some recalcitrant residents of Gbagada, Lagos came out in large numbers this morning to exercise on the main expressway leading to the third mainland bridge.
The large number of people who converged on the expressway under the guise of keeping ran contrary to the spirit of social distancing being encouraged by the government to curb the spread of coronavirus in the state, which is the epicentre of the disease in Nigeria.
The development also violates the ongoing total lockdown order of the federal government in Lagos and Ogun States, as well as the FCT.
