Another building, which was among those marked for demolition by the government, collapsed today in Lagos.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the two-storey building located at Kakawa Street, on the Lagos Island, caved in around noon.
An eyewitness told NewsmakersNG that a few people were injured and taken to the hospital but there was no casualty.
The Lagos State Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed that no one was trapped in the rubbles.
NewsmakersNG learnt that occupants of the building have been vacating the apartments and shops after the Lagos State building control agency marked the it for demolition last week Friday.
A few others were still moving their belongings when the building caved in.
