The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, were pictured together yesterday enjoying a happy moment.
The occasion was the 71st Foundation Day Ceremony and Special Congregation for the Award of Higher Degrees of the University of Ibadan.
The occasion also featured the award of Honorary Degree of Doctor of Letters (D. Lit) to legal luminary, Chief Afe Babalola and other eminent Nigerians.
Other first class traditional rulers at the occasion included the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Aladesanmi, among others.
