Penpushing platform, a renowned social media group, is set to mark its one year anniversary with a lecture by a former Vice-Chancellor of University of Lagos, Prof Oye Ibidapo-Obe.
According to the founder, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji, Prof Ibidapo-Obe has accepted to deliver the maiden anniversary lecture.
“The renowned Professor is also a leader and active participant among other notable leaders and elders on the platform with membership cutting across various professions,” he said.
Kayode-Adedeji named two e-mail addresses opened by the group for correspondences relating to the ceremony as: penpushing@yahoo.com or penpushingplatform@gmail.com.
“In addition to this, and as a way to expand the platform operations, which has remained a success with full and genuine support of 250 members, a website installation is also in progress,” he said, adding that a committee for the anniversary would soon be put in place.
He thanked “all members/participants for the support and trust extended to the platform since its take off which started like a child play”.
