A staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Alimosho Local Government Area, Mr. Akindele Ojo has been appointed as Administrative Secretary in the Office of the Secretary, Southwest PDP.
The appointment was announced by Chief Coker Onita, the Chairman of De-Oak Media Group, in which Ojo is also a member.
He stated: “It sounds gratifying to formally announce the appointment of Mr. Akindele Ojo as Administrative Secretary in the Office of the Secretary, Southwest Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Recall that in a PDP Congress conducted to elect the new SW Exco, Alhaji (Hon) Rahman Owokoniran emerged, in a keenly contested election, as Secretary, Southwest.
“Mr. Akindele Ojo will now function as Admin Sec of the Secretariat.
“A versatile politician, Akin, as we all call him, grew his interest in politics from the days of Zero Party in President Ibrahim Babangida’s era in the 80s, having risen from being a Ward Secretary to local government Organising Secretary to ultimately become a State Officer in Lagos State PDP.
“Mr. Akindele Ojo has been a State Delegate to several Congresses and Party primaries. In 2019, he functioned as Deputy National Coordinator and Southwest Coordinator, ATIKU/OBI Change the Change Council.
“Mr. Akindele Ojo is a vibrant party chieftain in Lagos Politics and an outstanding leader in Alimosho Local Government.
“We in the De-Oak Media congratulate him, most heartily and wish him every best as he goes about discharging this daunting task.”
