Dana Air left passengers in a state of frenzy Wednesday as one of the emergency doors of its aircraft allegedly flipped open while landing in Abuja.
Dana’s spokesman, Kingsley Ezenwa, however stated that the incident could not have happened if no one had tried to open the door.
“We wish to state categorically that this could never have happened without a conscious effort by a passenger to open it (exit door),” a statement from Ezenwa states.
One of the passengers, Mr Dapo Sanwo, said that the door panel was loose all through the flight. He described it as an indication of ‘lack of maintenance’.
