Oyo State government today donated 100 fully equipped patrol vehicles to security agencies in the state.
The gesture was aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the agencies in tackling crime and maintaining law and order in the state.
Speaking at the inauguration of the vehicles at the government secretariat in Ibadan, Governor Seyi Makinde said the occasion marked another step towards achieving the goal of a more secure state by his administration.
“Our administration will continue to make the welfare of those working with security agencies our priority, as they work towards making Oyo State safer for all residents,” Makinde added.
