In his sermon, the Bishop of Owo Diocese, Anglican Communion, Rt. Revd. Dr. Stephen Ayodeji Fagbemi, rejoiced with the people on the successful enthronement of the new Olowo of Owo for the historical town.

The Bishop described the peaceful emergence of the Olowo as a remarkable departure from the past characterised by strife and acrimony which has now broken into a new dawn.

The cleric also urged the royal father to continually work for the sustenance of the peace, unity and love which greeted his choice as the king of the town.

“Kabiyesi you must separate genuine tradition and culture of the people from idolatry.

“Your people love you and you must sustain the love by ensuring that nothing interrupts the current peace in Owo,” he said.
