The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) today announced four new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
It said in a tweet three of the new cases were reported in Osun State and one in Ogun State.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 135.
“As at 11:15 am 31st March there are 135 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria with 2 deaths,” NCDC further stated.
It added that all the new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently receiving care.
Eight cases have been discharged and two deaths recorded from COVID-19 in Nigeria, while Lagos remains the epicentre of the disease with 81 cases.
