Osinbajo Returns After Meeting with Buhari, Keeps Mum

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo met with President Muhammadu Buhari for one hour, on Tuesday, in London and immediately returned to Abuja.

Reuters reports that Osinbajo arrived in the night at the Abuja House, where Buhari has been living since he arrived United Kingdom from Nigeria for medical vacation.

Osinbajo spent one hour and left without making any comment on his meeting with President Buhari.

Spokesman for the Acting President, Laolu Akande, tweeted after the visit that information about what transpired will be made known soon. He said “it was a good meeting”.

Akande had announced the visit earlier on Tuesday and said that Osinbajo would return immediately afterwards.

The acting President will preside over the weekly Federal Executive Council Meeting, on Wednesday, in Abuja.
