Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will today perform the ground breaking ceremony of the Kajola Wagon Assembly Plant in Ogun State.
Osinbajo, who arrived Lagos from Abuja this morning, rode in a train alongside Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, his interior ministry counterpart, Rauf Aregbesola, members of the national assembly and other functionaries from the Iju Station to the site of the ceremony.
The Kajola Wagon Assembly Plant is major component of the Lagos-Kano rail project, which has now reached Ibadan.
The plant is expected to service the nation’s new railway system.
