Osinbajo Attends ECOWAS Extraordinary Summit in Niger

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will today represent President Muhammadu Buhari at an extraordinary summit of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) holding in Niger republic.

Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, disclosed this in a tweet this morning.

According to him, the meeting was convened to “review the ongoing situation in Guinea Bissau”.

His tweet read: “VP Osinbajo to represent President Buhari today in Niger where an Extraordinary ECOWAS summit is holding to review the ongoing situation in Guinea Bissau. He will depart Abuja this morning and return later today.”
