The Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof-Oloyede, has distributed goats and an undisclosed amount of money to all staff members as part of the council’s end-of-year celebration, a gesture that generated excitement and commendation within the secretariat.
The distribution, which many staff described as unprecedented in the history of the local government, created a festive atmosphere as workers sang, danced, and praised the chairman for his generosity. Several staff members noted that no previous administration had extended such end-of-year gifts to all workers.
During the celebration, some staff affectionately referred to the chairman as the “Asiwaju of Oshodi-Isolo,” while others offered prayers for his continued success and leadership.
The initiative has since sparked positive reactions across the local government area, with observers describing it as a morale-boosting move that reflects a commitment to staff welfare and inclusive leadership.
