Mdmbers of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) engaged in a free-for-all in Ojudu-Berger area of Lagos this afternoon.
NewsmakersNG could not ascertain the cause of the fight but eyewitnesses said various dangerous weapons were freely used by both sides, throwing the usually busy Berger bus stop into panic.
It was learnt that the timely intervention of the police prevented what could have been a major crisis.
Police authorities in the state said normalcy had been restored in the affected area. They however did not say if any arrests were made.
