Scene of the collapsed building that claimed a life on Lagos Island

State authorities have confirmed the death of a 4-year-old boy among three victims of a building that collapsed on Lagos Island last night.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the building that was among those marked for demolition by Lagos State government collapsed on another building at 3, Hassan Lane, off Agarawu Street at about 9 pm.
Policemen from Area ‘A’ Command led by ACP Bode Ojajuni and officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) had rescued three victims and rushed them to the hospital where one of them later died.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off by the police.
