The death has occurred of Nneoma Bernadine Madu, the mother-in-law of media consultant and former Head, Corporate Communication, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL) Chief Steve Omolale.
She was 81.
A statement issued by Omolale on behalf of the family, said Nneoma Madu passed on at The Duchess Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, on Sunday after a brief illness.
The statement described the deceased as a “beautiful mother with a pure and beautiful heart who acted as the rallying point for her entire family”.
It explained that Nneoma Madu, who hailed from Umu-Ogi in Umu-Ekwune, Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, is survived by her chilren, including Chief (Mrs) Clara Omolale, Lolo Nkechi Nwachukwu, EziAda Maryjane Ngozi Echeumuna, Miss Ambrosia Madu and Mr. Kelechi Madu, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
It said funeral arrangements will be announced later.
