Olu Jacobs has Dementia, Joke Silva Reveals

Veteran actress, Joke Silva, has made public her husband, Olu Jacobs’ health status.

The actress reportedly disclosed in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that her husband has dementia.

“This has been going on for a couple of years. My husband is dealing with issues and it’s been going on for a couple of years. It is known as Dementia with Lewy Body (DLB).

“It is a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it is almost like a Parkinson’s type of disease, it affects the brain and affects the person,” she revealed.

She further disclosed that it’s been hard on her husband because he doesn’t understand what is going on and also on family members as well.

“We have gone through it over the past couple of years but we thank God,” she added.

  • It's quite unfortunate for the Jacobs'. It's time for the govt. to educate everyone about demential and what can be done to refuce the risk of having it.
    The media too should get involved and use their channel to get people informed.
