According to the police, the 33-year-old teacher, Akinsoku Love Olomi, who resides in Baba Esther area of Iyesi-Ota in Ado-Odo was arrested on January 4, following a complaint by one Mrs Jenifer Mustapha, the mother of one of the victims, who reported at Onipanu Division that the suspect who is a neighbour teaching in a nearby private school saw her 6-year-old daughter and her 7-year-old friend playing on the school premises and called them into one of the classrooms.

“Upon the report, the DPO Onipanu Division, SP Soganbiyi Johnson led his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested. On interrogation, he admitted having carnal knowledge of one of the girls, but he claimed that he only fingered the second one. The two victims have been taken to the hospital for medical examination.”
Meanwhile, the Ogun State commissioner of police (CP) Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labor Unit of the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for proper Investigation and prosecution.
