Ogun State Government has placed a N50 million bounty on the killers of Taiwo Oyekanmi, a Director of Finance in the Office of the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Fifty-one-year-old Oyekanmi was killed by gunmen on November 29, at Kuto flyover, Abeokuta, the state capital.
The deceased alongside two others, were ambushed by suspected armed robbers while returning to the Governor’s Office with money said to have been withdrawn from two commercial banks within Abeokuta metropolis.
The gunmen killed the chartered accountant and made away with the money.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Abiodun Alamutu, said the group went to the bank without a police escort.
In a statement today, the state government says information provided would be treated with utmost confidentiality.
