CP Bode Ojajuni leads police investigators on an inspection of the crime scene as detectives intensify efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the killing of retired broadcaster Kitan Oyesiku and her security guard, following the recovery of her previously missing Lexus SUV.

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, has visited the residence of retired broadcaster, Ms. Kitan Oyesiku, and her security guard, who were found dead yesterday under suspicious circumstances, as police intensify investigations into the incident.

The visit came as the Ogun State Police Command announced the recovery of a Lexus RX300 earlier reported missing from the premises following the deaths.

CP Ojajuni conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the scene and received briefings from detectives leading the investigation into the tragic incident.

During the visit, the police commissioner reiterated the Command’s determination to uncover the circumstances surrounding the deaths and ensure that those responsible are identified, arrested and prosecuted.

According to the police, the missing Lexus RX300 was recovered by operatives during a night operation and has been secured as a key exhibit in the ongoing investigation.

Ojajuni also commiserated with the family of the deceased and assured residents that the Command was deploying all available resources to track down those behind the crime.

“The Command will leave no stone unturned in unraveling the circumstances surrounding this incident and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice,” the CP stated.

The police further disclosed that significant progress had been made in the investigation and promised to keep the public informed as new developments emerge.

The deaths of Oyesiku, a respected retired Ogun State Television (OGTV) broadcaster, and her security guard have sparked concern among residents, with investigators continuing efforts to determine the motive behind the killings and identify the perpetrators.
