Police authorities have confirmed the death of four officers whose team rescued at least 10 expatriates who were Kidnapped at a Tomatoes processing plant in Warra area of Ngaski Local Government Area Kebbi State.
The police told NewsmakersNG that a civilian was also killed during the rescue operation.
According to reports, the suspected bandits stormed the Tomatoes Company located in Gafara, close to Warra town, and kidnapped the expatriates who were working in the factory.
While confirming the incident in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, SP Nafi’u Abubakar, said four police officers and a civilian, died in the operation.
