OAU Lecturer Found Dead in his Office

A lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, Nicholas Igbokwe, was found dead inside his office today.

Sources told NewsmakersNG that the lecturer might have died the previous night because his body was already cold by the time he was discovered.

Public Relations Officer of the university, Abiodun Olanrewaju, confirmed the incident.

He said the late lecturer was confirmed dead before arriving at the medical facility.

“I have not been fully briefed regarding the circumstances surrounding his death. From the information available to me, he was rushed to OAU health centre, but he died before getting to the facility,” he said.
