Renowned Nigerian actor and comedian, Nkem Owoh, affectionately known as Osuofia, joyfully marked his 70th birthday today.
Taking to social media, Owoh expressed heartfelt gratitude, writing, “Chukwu daalu,” which translates to “Thank you, God.”
Fans and colleagues flooded various platforms with warm wishes and nostalgic clips from his extensive filmography, celebrating the laughter and joy he has brought into their lives.
Owoh’s illustrious career spans decades, with standout performances in films such as “Osuofia in London,” “Lionheart,” “God Calling,” and “Stronger than Pain,” for which he received the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2008.
Beyond acting, Owoh showcased his musical talent with the release of “I Go Chop Your Dollar,” a satirical song featured in the film “The Master,” where he portrayed a scammer.
