Nollywood Actor Allegedly Stabs Co-tenant to Death over Electricity Bill

A Nollywood actor, identified as Temitayo Phillips, has allegedly stabbed a co-tenant to death at his residence in Ikotun area of Lagos State.

The incident reportedly happened at 4 Sebil Kazeem street, Cele-Egbe, Ikotun, on Saturday.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the actor got into an argument with some of his co-tenants over payment of the compound’s electricity bill.

The argument was said to degenerated into a fight during which the actor brought a knife and stabbed one of them, identified as Oladotun Opeyemi, on the chest.

He was alleged to have prevented people from helping the victim immediately and also injured another co-tenant with the knife before he was overpowered by eyewitnesses.

He is reportedly being detained at the Ikotun police station.
