No Royal Wedding for Buhari’s Daughter

If a Twitter post by his spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, is anything to go by, President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter won’t be getting a royal wedding tomorrow.
Shehu, who laid out Zahra Buhari’s wedding plans on his Twitter page, posted: “Zahra Muhammadu Buhari’s wedding to Ahmed Mohammed Indimi starting today is a celebrity event to savour any day. Much as the family wants to make their daughter happy they, however, will not make it a royal wedding.”
He revealed that family members and aides would finance the wedding expenses, including the printing and distribution of invitation cards, souvenirs, lunch event for the men and dinner for the women as well as other miscellaneous expenses.
Here’s the wedding plan as laid out on Shehu’s Twitter page:

The Wedding Fatiha will hold at the National Mosque, Abuja, tomorrow, while reception for guest will be at the Presidential Banquet Hall.
