President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says the president did not plan any nationwide broadcast for today.
Following a meeting between the President and the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 at the State House, Abuja, yesterday, the national coordinator of the task force, Dr. Aliyu Sani, had hinted at the possibility of a nationwide broadcast by Buhari today.
Sani gave the hint while speaking on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics.
But, Adesina in a tweet this afternoon said there was no plan by the President to address Nigerians today.
“Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps,” Adesina added.
