The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced the pump price of petrol for the third time this December, bringing it down from N915 to N835 per litre, a decrease of N80.
The adjustment comes after MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano earlier revised their petrol prices in Abuja to between N739 and N865 per litre.
Industry observers note that NNPCL’s latest reduction follows Dangote Refinery and depot owners’ recent cut of ex-depot prices to between N699 and N800 per litre, signalling a wider decline in fuel costs across the country.
