The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced the appointment of a new senior management team, signaling a strategic push towards operational excellence and energy transformation.

Leading the newly formed 8-man team is Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, who assumes the role of Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO). He will be supported by Rowland Ewubare as Group Chief Operating Officer, Adedapo Segun as Group Chief Financial Officer, and Olalekan Ogunleye as Executive Vice President for Gas, Power & New Energy.

The restructuring also brings in Udy Ntia as Executive Vice President for Upstream, Mumuni Dangazau as Executive Vice President for Downstream, Sophia Mbakwe as Executive Vice President for Business Services, and Adesua Dozie as Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer.

According to a statement from Olufemi O. Soneye, the company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, all appointments take effect immediately.

This leadership shake-up is expected to drive NNPC Ltd’s agenda of energy security, sustainability, and corporate efficiency in line with its vision as a commercially driven national oil company.
