Members of the Senior Executive Course (SEC) 48 delegation of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies on study tour in Singapore on Monday visited the Nigerian High Commission, where discussions focused on deepening bilateral relations between Nigeria and Singapore.

The delegation, led by retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Leye Oyebade, alongside Directing Staff of Study Group 4 and representatives of the Director-General of NIPSS, was received by Nigeria’s Charge D’Affaires in Singapore, Ambassador Francisca Kemi Omayuli.

During the engagement at the Nigerian High Commission in Singapore, Ambassador Omayuli, briefed the delegation on the current state of Nigerian-Singaporean relations, highlighting areas of diplomatic cooperation, economic engagement and opportunities for strategic partnerships between both countries.

The visit formed part of the international study component of SEC 48, designed to expose participants to global governance models, institutional best practices and developmental strategies that could enrich policy formulation and leadership capacity in Nigeria.

In another highlight of the tour, the NIPSS delegation visited the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) West, Singapore, where DIG Oyebade, on behalf of the team, presented a commemorative plaque to the institution’s principal as a symbol of goodwill and institutional collaboration.

A group photograph was later taken to commemorate the visit, capturing Ambassador Omayuli, officials of the Nigerian High Commission and members of the SEC 48 Study Group team during the diplomatic and educational exchange programme.
