The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 457 new COVID-19 cases and 17 deaths in the country.
In its daily Twitter update, the agency said a total of 44,890 cases have been confirmed in the country, out of which 32,165 cases have been discharged and 927 deaths have been recorded.
Lagos State has the highest number of new infections with 137 cases, followed by the federal capital territory with 76 and Plateau State with 40.
