The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Mr. Adebayo Adeniyi Adedosu on his prestigious recognition at the Black History Month Awards Ceremony in Toronto, Canada.
Adedosu was honored by the Toronto Police Service in partnership with The British Methodist Episcopal Church for his outstanding heroism and dedicated service to the community.

In a statement released by NiDCOM’s Head of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the award as a testament to Adedosu’s unwavering commitment to excellence.
“Your recognition for ‘Heroism’ and ‘a Job Well Done’ is a proud moment for all Nigerians in the diaspora. It reflects the exceptional contributions Nigerians continue to make globally,” she stated.
The Black History Month Awards Ceremony took place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at The British Methodist Episcopal Church, Toronto. Adedosu was honored alongside other distinguished individuals making significant impacts in their communities.
Dabiri-Erewa reaffirmed NiDCOM’s commitment to celebrating and supporting Nigerians excelling worldwide, urging more diaspora Nigerians to uphold the values of hard work, integrity, and service.
