Nigerian Graphic Artist Designs New Logo for EFCC

Ololade Adeyanju/

A young Nigerian graphic artist, Adedoyin Betiku, has designed a new logo to replace the one currently being used by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a tweet on June 7 in which he tagged EFCC, Betiku said he decided to design a logo for the Commission to show appreciation for the work it had done.

The tweet further stated that the picture of the eagle in the current logo “is just observant, however the new one shows observance, swift action and is dynamic”.

In a response today via its verified Twitter handle, @officialEFCC, the Commission commended the talent and initiative of the artist and gave the assurance that the proposed design was undergoing an in-house review.

The EFCC’s tweet read: “Wow! Thank you @adedoyinbetiku for this beautiful design.
This reinforces our stance that young Nigerians are radically creative and can use that positively too.

“Sorry for the delayed response. This has been passed upwards for further review.”
