Controversial Nigerian-born British police constable, Kafilat Kareem aka Khafi, appears to have kissed the Met goodbye after she was evicted from the reality TV Show, Big Brother Naija, in Lagos, today.

Twenty-nine-year-old Khafi became the most talked about housemate after she was televised making love three times with another housemate, 31-year-old businessman, Ekpata Gedoni.

When asked what her career path would be after losing in the game in which she could have received prizes worth N60million as a winner, Khafi who earns £30,000 (N13, 158, 762) a year as a Metropolitan police officer in London before venturing into the BBNaija competition without receiving the permission of her employer did not mention going back to her job.

In answer to the question from the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Khafi said, “Anything and everything I can get my hands on, like acting, presenting; I mean everything! Business as well… Tourism! I want to put Nigeria on the map. I want people to come to Nigeria.”

She also told Ebuka that she received a message from God before falling head over heels in love at first sight with Gedoni.

The Met has recently considered the termination of Khafi’s job.

According to a report in The Sun, Khafi Kareem who has been the police poster girl in Britain defied her bosses to appear in a series of steamy romps on TV.

The Police Constable (PC), who once stood alongside Met Commissioner Cressida Dick to promote female and black recruitment, was told not to take part in Nigeria’s Big Brother.

But the 29-year-old had already been granted unpaid leave and joined the show.

Khafi’s romance had viewers gripped but she is facing an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards.

One colleague said: “She’s a serving British police officer — it’s outrageous. She asked permission to go on the show but, when her request was refused, she went anyway.

“Her out-of-office email reply blatantly says that she is away from work, yet no one does anything.

“Other officers working with her are furious that she can just disobey orders then swan off Africa and tarnish the reputation of the force.”

Former bit-part actress and shop assistant Khafi joined the Met as a PC based at Lambeth station in 2015 after working part-time as a special constable for four years.

She was inspired to sign up after a 16-year-old pal was stabbed to death but has spoken out against police stop-and-search tactics.

While in the house, Khafi won the Innoson vehicle valued at over N3million and N220,000 Scanfrost TV.

She also won Arla cooking challenge and was a co-winner of the Indomie N1m challenge.

She was also a co-winner of the TravelBeta challenge under team Lagos that won N1million.

She thanked everyone for supporting her while her stay at the House lasted.

Ten housemates are currently left in the show. They are, Omashola, Tacha, Mercy, Diane, Frodd, Cindy, Elozonam, Mike, Seyi and Ike.
