Nigeria Records Spike in COVID-19 Infections with 664 New Cases

Nigeria witnessed another spike in COVID-19 infections yesterday, with the confirmation of 664 new cases.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos State has 224 of the new cases, FCT has 105 and Edo State has 85.

The centre also disclosed that 15 COVID-19 related fatalities were recorded in the country yesterday, while 308 people also recovered from the disease.

Out of the current total of 31,987 confirmed cases, 13,103 people have recovered while 724 deaths have occurred, it added.
