Nigeria today recorded its highest daily figures since its first COVID-19 case in February.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) today confirmed 389 new COVID-19 cases in the country, with 256 of them in Lagos State.
Before today, the highest daily figure was the 381 cases annouced by NCDC on May 8.
According to the NCDC daily Twitter update, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 8,733, with 2,501recoveries and 254 fatalities.
