Nigeria yesterday recorded a significant drop in its daily infection toll as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 146 new COVID-19 cases.
The agency made the announcement via its Twitter handle late yesterday.
Nigeria recorded 242 COVID-19 cases on Monday.
According to the agency, a total of 4,787 cases have now been recorded in 34 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
The number of fatalities also increased from 150 to 158, while recoveries increased from 902 to 959.
Kogi and Cross River are yet to record any case.
