Nigeria Records 684 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 23,298

Nigeria today recorded 684 new COVID-19 cases and five deaths, according the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Lagos State has the highest number of new cases with 259, followed by Oyo and Katsina with 76 and 69 cases respectively.

The centre said the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 23,298.

It also said 8,253 persons have recovered from the disease, while 554 have died.
