Nigeria Records 627 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Now 15,181

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 627 new COVID-19 cases in the country.

The centre also confirmed the deaths of 12 COVID-19 patients.

Lagos State has 229 of the new cases while the federal capital territory has 65.

Abia State where the governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, was confirmed COVID-19 positive earlier this week, has 54 news cases taking its total confirmed figure to 97.

Nigeria now has 15,181 confirmed COVID-19 cases with 4,891 recoveries and 399 fatalities.
