Nigeria Records 587 New COVID-19 Cases, 14 Deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 587 new COVID-19 in the country.

The centre also confirmed 17 COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours.

In its daily Twitter update, the centre said Lagos State has 155 of the new cases, while Edo has 75, federal capital territory 67, Rivers 65, Oyo 56 and Delta 50.

According to the NCDC, the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country is now 17,735, with 5,967 recoveries and 469 fatalities.
